    This almost always points to a laptop-specific issue rather than your router or ISP. Common causes are a corrupted network driver, a misconfigured DNS or IP setting, or a local firewall blocking connections. See our No Internet guide for the full fix.
    Connect your laptop directly to the modem using an Ethernet cable, bypassing the router entirely. If the problem persists, it's the ISP or modem — call your ISP and ask them to run a line test. Also check your ISP's outage page or Downdetector.com.
    Your router assigns the printer a new IP address via DHCP after each restart. The permanent fix is to assign a DHCP reservation (static IP) to your printer in the router's admin panel. See our Printer Connectivity guide for step-by-step instructions.
    The tunnel is up but your DNS requests aren't being sent through it, so your PC can't resolve internal server names. Check your VPN client settings for a "split DNS" option, or manually enter your company's internal DNS server IP. See our VPN guide for details.
    Both are safe and faster than most ISP DNS servers for home use. However, on a corporate network your company's internal DNS servers handle name resolution for internal services like printers and file servers. Only change DNS settings on a work PC if your IT team advises it.
